Hi! I'm Caroline, and I'm from Kentucky (US). I have been a TOEFL Speaking Rater since 2014, and I've been tutoring TOEFL test takers since 2022. I'm also a world traveler - I studied abroad in France as an undergraduate, taught high school English in China, and completed my Master's degree in the UK. In my free time, I enjoy reading, studying foreign languages, hiking, and doing jigsaw puzzles. I hope to see you on italki soon!我的教學經歷
I have experience teaching classes and individual students. My role as a teacher is particularly suited to one-on-one lessons. I encourage my students to be open and share about themselves so that they feel more comfortable expressing themselves in English. I prioritize being a good listener and creating a supportive environment where students are confident practicing and improving their English.我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are guided by each student's goals and expectations. Since the priority of most students preparing for the TOEFL is achieving a particular score, I can offer an assessment of a student's current TOEFL Speaking score range. I can identify difficulties that students are encountering and practice with TOEFL Speaking materials to address them. I provide detailed feedback on responses to practice TOEFL questions and offer suggestions to help students reach their full speaking potential.我的教材

I have to take the TOEFL exam for Graduate studies in the US, and Caroline did a great job helping me understand the Speaking part, giving me useful feedback and resources to practice at home. I truly recommend her classes if you need some help with TOEFL!
