Hi there! My name is Mhairi and I am from Edinburgh in Scotland. I am 36 years and currently live in Mexico city. As well as teaching English my passions are travelling and learning new cultures. At the moment I am learning Spanish, I also enjoy hiking, yoga and socialising with friends.

I have been teaching English online for the 18 months. I gained my certification through TEFL and also teach group classes in Mexico city. Over the last year I spoken with over 800 people from around the world, helping them on their English speaking journey. If you would like to book a lesson but don't see a suitable time, please send me a message as I very flexible schedule :)

我的課程內容與教學風格

My priority is to help students gain confidence in speaking English and being comfortable in conversation with native speakers. As I am currently learning Spanish I understand the issues that can come along with speaking a new language and I aim to put those worries at ease, whilst expanding vocabulary and perfecting grammar. I excel in conversational English, IELTS and job interview preparation. Please note, any inappropriate communication will be immediately reported.

I have been taking lessons with Mhari, and so far, it has been a great experience! The lessons are very interesting and productive. We go through an article, which she sends beforehand, and we also have conversation practice. She is attentive to correcting mistakes in pronunciation and grammar. Mhari has been very patient, polite, and supportive! I really enjoy taking lessons with her!
