Hallo/ Hello/ Bonjour/ Guten Tag/ Hola!
My name is Sofie and I am currently 21 years old. I live in Belgium: the land of fries, chocolate and beer, which already sounds good, right?
I live in the province of Antwerp, together with my brother, my parents and my cat Felix. Some of my passions are languages, cooking, tennis, writing, rollerblading and the scouts. My family and friends describe me as empathetic, gentle, sporty, intelligent and helpful.

As a teacher, I have every student's interests at heart. It's all about what you want to learn and how you want to improve your language skills. So I really focus on your wishes. Together, we elaborate a language plan to bring your Dutch to a higher level.我的課程內容與教學風格
Depending on your prior knowledge and input, I set up different lessons. Some language components we can practice on are:
- Conversation practice
- Expanding vocabulary
- Clarifying grammar
- Speaking exercises
- Testing listening skills
- Sentence structure
- ....
Of course, there is also always time for your personal questions. Is there for example a jargon you need for your profession? I will adapt my lessons to your input. Mistakes are allowed, no stress!

Sofie is an excellent teacher. I have been working with her to improve my dutch and I only have good things to say about her. She is very profesional, kind and dedicated with her work. Classes are never monotonous as she uses different materials with very different topics. Moreover, her personality also makes classes very funny. She has helped me to overcome my fear to speak dutch and I'm sure she can help you with your own goals despite your level. She is very patient and never hesitate to find other words when you don't understand something. I really recommend her!

Sofie is a very good teacher, understands what your individual goals are and adjusts the lesson accordingly. She corrects your mistakes, gives feedback, and teaches you a lot of useful phrases.

Dit is mijn eerste ervaring met Italki en ik ben erg blij dat ik Sofie ben tegengekomen. Ik heb maar twee lessen met haar gehad maar ik kan wel zeggen dat ze het heel professioneel heeft aangepakt. Ze is heel goed Nederlandse lerares en ik vond de lessen super leuk. En ik kijk er erg uit naar de volgende lessen. 😀
