I'm a lucky linguist with years of real-life practice under my belt. I couldn’t be happier about the fact that what once used to be my hobby transformed into two solid professions: TESL & translator/interpreter. I’ve been working as both since I was 18—hence a far broader perspective on the language taught. I'm proud to have been part of business & cultural events and collaboration over the years with such companies and organizations as Generations For Peace, BBC, MTV3, The New York Times, The Colbert Report, Casmara Cosmetics, Pythagor, Moscow's Gorky Park, and the 2014 Winter Olympics Committee in my hometown of Sochi. Today, I'm a translator for Netflix and your guide to American English.我的教學經歷
I'm a proud graduate of two Russian linguistic schools, one of them being St Petersburg’s Herzen University. However, I gained my accent and command of English outside of textbooks, classrooms, or offices. I have amassed 15 years of experience teaching American English to most age groups, 10 to 50, with some of that time at public and private schools. I have shared years of life with my many long-term students, some of whom I even became good friends with. I have also seen them grow intellect- and career-wise, which was most rewarding. That is why I keep gladly sharing my accumulated knowledge of the actual spoken language for you to use today and sound as authentic as a true native speaker.我的課程內容與教學風格
I'm a democratic tutor: Every class is a dialog, even if no conversation topic is scheduled. I teach my students how to use English as a tool for all the tasks and ordeals life can throw your way. I give extra attention to perfecting North American accent if needed, and explaining tricky grammar rules by using simple logic. The teaching material I use is as follows: NGL Keynote TED Talk (American English), American English File, Essential Grammar In Use, Grammarway, Enterprise, and more. Your favourite pop songs or actors' interviews are as important as my own FRIENDS-based video class program for conversational development my students have been in love with for 12 years now.我的教材
