Hello! My name is Hannah and I’m from the United States! I grew up in sunny Los Angeles, California where I also received my Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration.
I lived and taught English in South Korea for about 5 years.
I just moved to Japan to continue my own education in illustration!
I also have experience trying to learn other languages - so I understand the difficulty!
With my experience I can talk freely about a range of topics and can find new ways to engage in conversation~我的教學經歷
I have taught many different kinds of people! College students, businessmen, medical professionals, you name it!
In addition to adults I have also taught children. I worked at a private elementary school in Seoul and taught grades 1, 3, and 5 so I am familiar with a range of ages.
I have also received a 120 hour TEFL (teaching english as a foreign language) certificate!
I specialize in conversational and practical English. I want to encourage you to feel confident in your speaking and to not to worry about making mistakes! English is a language spoken by many different people from around the world so it is always changing.我的課程內容與教學風格
In my classroom we will have flexible lessons depending on what you’re interested in learning! I want to emphasize conversational English and getting used to speaking and explaining your own ideas.
I believe the best way to learn grammar and vocabulary is by doing and repetition, so I will encourage you to speak, finish sentences, and make your own sentences!
I understand how difficult it can be to learn a new language, but we can work hard together!我的教材

Hannah is an excellent teacher. I've been working with her for two months, with 4 or 5 lessons per week. It is really worth it for every lesson. I write down whatever I want to say or what I think about any random topic before the class on our Google docs, and she corrects and explains any mistakes I made,and we do conversation practice which I need a lot of.
I am learning a lot every class, so I can't stop taking her class.
I would recommend her!!!

my son had a class with Hannah. he is a little shy and not to talkative so i guess it would have been hard for her to carry out a conversation. however she was very kind, asked him a lot of questions and showed interests to whatever he said. looking forward to next session with Hannah!
