I see myself as a humanitarian and an artist. I love music, I love photography, I'm open-minded and passionate about languages, cultures and the ways of human community and relationships.
Learning new languages taught me to see and experience the world in so many new ways, through the eyes of other people with whom I otherwise wouldn't have been able to connect with on a deeper level.
This is just one of the many gifts of learning a new language, and my wish is that you will feel the joy of speaking a foreign language by mastering it naturally and effortlessly.

As a teacher, my approach to language learning is based on my own experience of learning foreign languages as an adult. I have a good ear and have always been good with languages.
I offer insights into Norwegian culture and social ways whilst being a curious, patient, open friend whom loves conversation.
The gift of language and the process of progressively mastering a new language is of the greatest joy to me. You will feel that in my classes, where I bring a positive mindset, motivation and perspective on the journey of learning a new language.
I have a holistic viewpoint on things, value human connection, love storytelling.

When I learned Spanish and Portuguese, I had conversations with the taxi drivers in Colombia, and the sugarcane-juice vendors in Brazil, and the small restaurant owners in Argentina. Little by little becoming less afraid to make mistakes, and so learning even quicker.
Many of us are so afraid of making mistakes, but this is inevitable when learning a (to us) new language, different from our native language. And frankly it´s quite unreasonable to not permit ourselves to make mistakes, when we learn a COMPLETELY different language than our native language.
Let's be nice and patient with ourselves and be content with where we are at each stage..

I really enjoy Sebastian's natural teaching style. It is super interesting and fun to talk about many different topics each time. Sebastian is very patient and engaging, with many new ideas for the lessons. Reviewing common mistakes at the end of each lesson helps a lot to continuously visualise and improve the language. The lessons have helped me to feel much more confident in talking to people and using Norwegian in everyday life. I can highly recommend his encouraging way of teaching. Thank you Sebastian for your patients and for making learning Norwegian fun and motivating!

Sebastian is such a great and friendly teacher. I really enjoy the methods he uses and feel that learning norwegian is so much more fun because of our lessons. I'm able to send him IG links (sometimes accidentally in Danish 😓) and questions from Duolingo and he explains whatever I'm confused about. Looking forward to reaching fluency in the next year with his help 🙏🏿

Jo flere timer jeg har, jo mer merker jeg fremgangen min.
Jeg prøver å finne ting jeg er interessert i, eller som jeg gjerne vil dele, og Sebastian hjelper meg med å gjøre det mer smidig. Han hjelper til med å finne de riktige ordene eller korrigerer litt etterpå. Hvis jeg er i tvil om noe jeg vil si, spør jeg bare ham. Mange av feilene jeg gjorde i begynnelsen, forandrer seg over tid.

Sebastian er en utmerket lærer som gjør undervisningen dynamisk og morsom med sin evne til å vekke nysgjerrighet. Han er alltid klar til å hjelpe meg med å forstå et emne, spesielt når jeg står fast på en setning eller et ord. I løpet av timene er han svært engasjert, stiller gode spørsmål og viser genuin interesse for temaene vi diskuterer. Hans flerspråklige bakgrunn er en stor fordel, da det hjelper meg å finne de rette ordene og uttrykkene når jeg trenger det. Jeg setter stor pris på hans støtte og innsats for å gjøre læringen så effektiv og interessant som mulig.
