I am from a town near Nottingham, in the middle of England. I love travelling and speaking to people about different cultures. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me running ultra marathons or watching my football team lose.我的教學經歷
I passed the CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Cambridge University in 2013, and I have been working as an English in schools and online since then.
I have taught people of all ages from all over the world with many different needs. From general English to exam preparation to conversation practice, I have a lot of experience.
I have been particularly successful in preparing students for exams. Specifically, IELTS, C1 Advanced (CAE), B2 First (FCE), TOEFL, as well as other more unique exams我的課程內容與教學風格
In general English classes, we often speak a lot, but this speaking is focused on specific topics and input such as texts, audio, quizzes etc. Then we look at vocabulary or grammar from the input (depending on the purpose of the lesson) so we can learn it from context. This makes it a little easier to understand and remember. After that, we practise using the langue in exercises and in conversation. All while focusing on your strengths and weaknesses.
In exam classes, we look at the requirements of each exam the strategies that can help with the different problems of taking an exam. We then look at your strengths and weaknesses and work on improving them to help you get the score you need.我的教材

Nathan is a superb teacher who can find out my main problems with CAE speaking.A 45 minutes class really benefits me,as I have finally learnt how to built the frame and structure of my speaking and focus on answering the examiner’s questions.It is certainly a wonderful experience!

Nathan has a personalized approach. First, we work together during classes. After identifying your difficulties, he does specifics exercises to improve your weakest point. He is always opened for questions and focused in the student’s needs. Despite the long way ahead of me, it seems to get a bit easier each day. Studying with Nathan, I feel more confident and prepared for the TOEFL exam.
