Hi there! I'm Canadian and I am passionate about languages, but also about people! I'm a very enthusiastic and warm person who likes to connect with others. I'm also currently learning Mandarin Chinese (so if you have a hard time with English, I understand the feeling!). I love hiking, fitness classes, food, reading fiction (fantasy, science-fiction, romance) and non-fiction (personal finances, business, personal growth, biographies). I'm also a big traveler and love new adventures, and learning about other cultures!

我的教學經歷

I use a communicative approach and comprehensible input -- meaning that most of the class will happen in English and that you will do most of the talking. I'm also very friendly and patient, so don't be shy to come try a class with me, even if you feel intimidated. I promise it will be a fun time! -- J'utilise une approche communicationnelle en classe, donc la leçon se passe surtout en anglais, et c'est vous qui parlez le plus. Je suis très enjouée et patiente en classe, alors même si vous êtes gêné(e) ou si vous vous sentez un peu intimidé(e), n'hésitez pas à prendre un cours avec moi, ça sera le fun, promis!

We will focus mostly on speaking and on fluency. My goal is for you to feel as comfortable as possible using English! I like to talk about the things that interest YOU and to focus on what is relevant to you specifically. As a fun side, I sometimes bring language games, as it is always a good way to bring out your most relaxed self and get your English flowing!
