Hi! I’m Rebecca (she/her), and I’ve been teaching French informally for a few years now.
My love for learning and connecting with different cultures is what inspired me to teach French—and to dive into language learning myself! I’ve learned English and Hebrew, and I’m currently exploring Levantine Arabic and MSA. Alongside this, I studied fine arts and performance and am passionate about sharing knowledge, creative processes, and community-based activism. I guess you could call me someone with a wide range of passions and hobbies!
I offer lessons that dive into French cinema and literature, incorporating fun games and interactive methods to make each session engaging and lively!我的教學經歷
My love for learning languages has taught me what truly helps you make progress while keeping the process enjoyable! I've been fortunate to learn from incredible teachers who showed me that being a great teacher is also about being a great person—tuning into the energy of the room, understanding how each student learns best, and creating a space that’s both fun and engaging. These values are at the heart of my teaching approach.
To add to that, I believe learning a language comes from a personal, meaningful place. That’s why I focus on what motivates you—whether it’s making your French lover laugh, reading Descartes, or diving into the Nouvelle Vague—to keep our lessons fun and engaging!我的課程內容與教學風格
My teaching method is based on full immersion—no matter your level, we’ll speak only French during lessons! This approach helps you naturally absorb vocabulary and structures while building confidence in communicating with what you already know. During our lessons, I track new vocabulary in a shared document, which I’ll send to you after each class. I tailor the lessons to your level and goals, maintaining a balance between speaking, reading, and comprehension—key elements in learning any language.
My goal is to make our lessons an enjoyable experience—a space where you feel confident making mistakes and connecting with the French language and culture in ways that inspire you!我的教材
