Hi, there! Please call me Yukko/유코!
I work as an English tutor, helping students improve their skills and build study habits. It’s so rewarding to see my students grow!
📝About Me
I majored in English and spent a year in Canada and four months in Korea. After graduating, I worked for an airline, as a barista, and at a lodge. These experiences let me meet amazing people and learn about different cultures.🙏
🌟My Hobbies
I enjoy traveling, walking, yoga, and watching TV shows. Recently, I’ve been enjoying Japanese comedy (Owarai) and stand-up comedy on YouTube. It’s so fun!
I’m also learning English and Korean on my own and through online lessons.

Learning a language takes time, but I want to make the journey as fun and enjoyable as possible for you!😊
First, I’d love to hear about you! What are you interested in? Why do you want to learn Japanese? How have you been studying so far? I want to tailor our lessons to your “fun” and “favorite” things to make learning more enjoyable.
I naturally speak slowly, even in Japanese. 🤭
It’s okay if you take your time to find the right words, or even make mistakes! (I sometimes misread kanji too! 😂) My goal is to create a relaxed, fun atmosphere where you feel comfortable. 🌿

Our lessons will focus on grammar while also giving you plenty of opportunities to practice speaking! There's a Japanese saying, "ならうよりなれろ"—"Practice makes perfect." This means the best way to learn is to get used to it through practice!
