I am Ece, I was born in Istanbul, Turkey. I am an actor and educator in theatre, dance and rhythm areas for children, youth and adults. I got my bachelor's degree from Koç University, Sociology Department, and I did a double major in Media and Visual Arts. I studied in Charles University , Prag in 2016 for one semester. I got my Master's Degree in Kadir Has University ,Master's Degree in Film and Drama, Acting Department. I am a content creator for the telephone application called FaceDance. I play in a children and family theatre play called ''FART''(PIRT). I teach children theatre and rhythm. I am currently learning SoundPainting live composing SignLanguage for musicians, actors,dancers.我的教學經歷
I am here as a Turkish speaking Community tutor. I have teaching experience in the fields of performance art. I love to talk, create safe learning environments and have fun at the same time. I can design more structured sessions with home works or playful duties, or just be there for talking about any topic and learning new vocabulary words about the topic. My aim as a community tutor, to make speaking Turkish more fun and fluid. I am willing to shape the meetings according to the students interests. In our meetings, we can talk about; theatre, cinema, art, Istanbul, politics, cultures, general culture topics, basic academics, gender roles, plays and games, daily life, basics of Turkish . If wanted; I am also able focus on learning with playing.我的教材

Ece is a really good teacher. Today, we went over the material from the last class and she gave me an opportunity to share example sentences. She made lots of example sentences for me when I asked questions, and she has a really great way of explaining and helping me with my pronunciation.

Diving into Turkish language with Ece is both fun and different from regular Turkish classes. She uses great visual and audio material like songs and has a super creative and playful approach of teaching. Besides she follows up on past words I learned and also gives insights to Turkish history and culture. Since I like to focus on speaking and I enjoy playing games etc. it's the perfect approach for me :-). She's a very cheerful teacher with lots of empathy and distinctive curiosity about language.
