Hello there! Kumusta! I'm Shai, the tutor you've been searching for. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a major in Filipino and have spent the past four years offering personalized tutoring services in my hometown.
Besides teaching, I love reading historical books and watching historical films, series and documentaries. This helps me be more creative and allows me to bring Filipino culture and history into my lessons in an exciting way. How about you? I’d love to get to know you. I am patient and understanding. I know it can be difficult to learn a new language, so I don't rush my students to understand everything right away. Instead, I focus on making sure they really understand a particular lesson before we move on to the next. I teach in a way that works best for each student. I start by assessing how much my students know about the Filipino language. This helps me figure out if they're beginners, intermediate, advanced, or already proficient. This way, I can decide on the most suitable lessons to give them.
Furthermore, I think that learning the Filipino language is more than just memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules. You need to really get into Filipino culture. For this reason, I’ll provide you with interactive learning materials that will help you experience the culture. This will not only teach you the language but also let you gain new perspectives and genuine connections with people.我的教材
