Sawaddee Kha! I'm Yok. I grew up in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where Thai traditions, especially Lanna culture, customs, and of course, the sweet sound of the Thai language, surrounded me. I can speak both central Thai and the unique Lanna style. After finishing my studies in Primary Education, I decided to share my love for the Thai language with people all over the world. My goal is to help you see that Thai is easier than you might think, and I'll do my best to assist you in reaching your Thai language goals.我的教學經歷
Now I am a teacher and work at an international school in Chiang Mai. I teach both Thai and foreign students. For me, I believe in creating a warm, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and motivated. My teaching approach is centered around patience, empathy, and adaptability. I understand that each learner comes with their own unique background and learning pace, and I tailor my teaching methods to suit individual needs. My lessons cover listening, speaking, reading, writing, and Thai culture. We can also discuss your goals in learning Thai initially, allowing me to prepare lessons and content that align with your objectives. You can expect a balanced blend of structured curriculum and interactive activities. This holistic approach ensures that you not only comprehend the language but also gain the confidence to use it in real-life situations.

Today's lesson was an in-depth practice session, building on what was covered last lesson, with some new sentences added to keep things interesting. I believe full understanding happens outside of class when revisiting the excellent notes recommended by this teacher as well as working on the assigned homework.
