I'm Felix, or 菲樂 in Chinese. I'm currently a doctoral student in Chinese Studies at Cologne University, while also teaching German and Technology at a public middle school. Furthermore, I hold a BA in German Language and Literature, as well as Chinese Studies, and an MA in Chinese Studies. With experience studying in China and Taiwan for two years and traveling across Europe, Asia, and the U.S., I’m fluent in English and Mandarin (HSK6 level), which helps me understand the unique challenges especially Chinese natives face when learning German. My personal interests include deep conversations, philosophy, spirituality, meditation, nature, food and cooking, as well as music and DJing.我的教學經歷
I know how difficult it can be at times to learn a new language, that's why I am a patient, encouraging and diligent teacher. No matter at what level we are learning, acquiring a new language is expanding our world by giving us the tool to connect to other peoples lives and cultures. I follow the philosophy that it is not only important to learn the rules and vocabulary of a language to be successful in it, but it is to cultivate a certain mindset for learning. In this mindset we are curious towards the unknown, remain open to the strangeness of other people and cultures, we learn to access the resources to grow and overcome obstacles, and we recognize all the little grains of progress.我的課程內容與教學風格
In my German lessons, I cater to all levels—beginners, intermediates, and advanced students—by creating a tailored approach to help you reach your language goals. For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary through engaging, easy-to-follow exercises and real-life examples. Intermediate learners dive deeper into sentence structure, conversation, and cultural nuances through texts and videos, while advanced students refine their fluency, tackle complex texts, and perfect their pronunciation and argumentation. My teaching style is interactive and supportive, aiming to make language learning fun, effective, and suited to your individual pace.我的教材
