I am Thirusha, and I describe myself as passionate, honest, dedicated, punctual, and determined to help my students fully understand their lessons. I am from the beautiful and culturally diverse country, South Africa. South Africa has 11 official languages. I speak fluently in two languages, English and Afrikaans. In my leisure time, I enjoy reading mystery and religious books, spending time with family, chatting with friends, listening to music and watching sports such as football and formula 1 racing. I am a good listener, very patient, optimistic, friendly and goal oriented. I am currently doing my Bachelor of Laws Degree. I offer a strong educational background to support my teaching.我的教學經歷
I am a professional TEFL certified teacher, with 2 years of teaching experience as an English and Afrikaans tutor. I enjoy applying the knowledge and training obtained,in my lessons. I love teaching as it allows me to have a positive impact in someone’s life. My goal has always been to help my students improve their English language skills and make my lessons understandable, motivating and enjoyable. With patience and determination,anything can be accomplished. My lessons will help you improve your speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills. My lessons are student-centred and will be tailored according to your needs and wants. We will discuss what your goals are and how I can help you achieve them as effectively as possible. My approach includes: using visual aid [ drawings, charts, diagrams, etc.] to build vocabulary, practical grammar learned through casual and structured conversation, speaking practice to improve pronunciation, frequent correction and precise explanation of language rules, a non-judgemental yet focused and professional learning environment, playful and patient approach when teaching children.My lessons include simple-to-follow rules and are well organized in order to keep students interested and enthusiastic我的教材
