My name is Maria and I am 27 years old. I am coming from Greece but for the last four years, I have been living in Norway. I have a bachelor's degree in History and Ethnology from Greece and I recently completed my master's in Social Anthropology in Oslo. I have also completed the Erasmus Program in African Studies in Germany. Additionally, I have lived in Peru where I conducted fieldwork. Living in different countries taught me a lot. I am really passionate about language learning and I love experiencing different ways of life and meeting new people from all around the world. I can speak 5 languages, so now I am vvery excited to teach my mother language.我的教學經歷
As a teacher, I create an interactive learning environment filled with diverse activities that keep lessons engaging and effective. I like keeping the course in a friendly and informal level. My approach is highly interactive, combining a variety of activities to keep learning dynamic and engaging. My goal is to create a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel safe and comfortable. I have a lot of knowledge and I am very into topics like culture, history, geography, food, music and movies. For five years I was a private teacher in Greece and that has gave me a very broad experince on different students and their different demannds.我的課程內容與教學風格
On the courses I focus mostly on the daily use of the Greek language, using flashcards, games, videos, and music to make learning fun and memorable. My lessons dive beyond language, offering insights into Greek culture, traditions, and the way of life. Together, we can explore everything from delicious Greek cuisine to traditional celebrations, connecting language with real-life experiences. Whether you’re a beginner or advancing your skills, I ensure a unique journey where learning is meaningful and enjoyable. I teach from English/Spanish to Greek.
