I was born and raised in Japan🇯🇵 I have 8 years of experience working as a teacher at an elementary school in Japan. I have licenses for elementary, special needs school, and kindergarten👩🏫 I like talking to people from different nationalities and learning new things🌏️ I am a mom of two boys👦 I have a friendly and calm personality😊 My hobbies are playing and watching sports, and learning English🏅🔤 I can communicate in simple English.

As a tutor, the most important thing for me is to make you feel comfortable during the lessons. I welcome you in a warm and peaceful atmosphere🌻 You don't have to worry about making mistakes or speaking slowly. Please feel free to ask any questions no matter how small. I will teach you patiently, carefully, and at your pace. I will be a comfortable learning partner for you. With my experience as an elementary school teacher, I will teach you in an easy-to-understand and fun way🤝😊

My teaching style is friendly and casual. There are 4 types of lessons: (1) Free Talk, (2) Reading, (3) Japanese through Mini Games, and (4) Lessons with PDFs for review. (I am currently preparing a class to learn about and experience Japanese culture!) I want to help you improve your Japanese, of course, but I also try to make the lessons a fun way to communicate with others through the Japanese language.

I've been feeling very poorly about my Japanese abilities recently, but Miki Sensei had a lesson plan that gave me a chance to learn/remember words and have a productive conversation about them. Thank you Miki Sensei!

I've had lots of things happening in my life that has made me miss a couple of lessons/needing to reschedule, but Miki-sensei has been very understanding each time. I appreciate all the work Miki-sensei puts into our lessons. I don't think I would have felt as comfortable to continue lessons if it wasn't for Miki-sensei! Thanks to her teachings and friendliness, I feel extremely comfortable each time we meet and feel that she does not judge me when I make mistakes. Thank you!!!
