Hi there, I'm Sam from South Africa. I am a tutor with a 120-hour TEFL certification and a diploma in Law. 🎓 I love meeting new people from all walks of life 🤗. I am unafraid to take on challenges and push myself to learn and grow. I believe that stepping out of our comfort zone is where real progress and development happen. Currently, I'm learning Spanish because I dream of traveling one day🛫🌍. I enjoy spending my free time trying out new recipes in the kitchen and diving into a good book. I'm also teaching myself how to code and, I am proficient in Responsive Web Design. I look forward to sharing my passion for learning and exploring with you!😊🤗

In my online lessons, I am kind, patient and enthusiastic. My lessons are customized based on each student's learning pace, preferences and ensure personalized learning experiences. In my class, I use participative teaching, where I involve students in activities and I create real-world learning experiences, case studies, and hands-on activities to enhance understanding and application of concepts. I engage students through interactive activities, discussions, and multimedia resources. I combine online resources, such as videos and interactive tools, with traditional teaching methods to create balanced and a holistic learning experience.

An ECD teacher plans, and implements age-appropriate lessons and activities like games and crafts that help children learn important skills while having fun. We watched how well each child was was doing and gave extra help when needed. An ECD teacher plays an important role in laying the foundation for children's lifelong learning, social-emotional well-being, and future academic success.

The best teacher I've met on iTalki! What really makes her stand out, even compared to more experienced tutors, is her natural ability to create a comfortable space where students feel free to talk and express themselves.
