Shalom! My name is Yotam Gubbay, and I teach Hebrew on Italki.
I was actually born in Australia to a Hebrew-speaking family, but I grew up in Canada, where I still live today. I am currently a student studying Global Affairs.
I love languages and the many connections between them and in addition to Hebrew and English, I also speak French and Arabic.我的教學經歷
I really believe in the concept of comprehensible input, which is the idea that we gain skills in languages when we hear or see something and understand it. I want to make Hebrew lessons fun and engaging and interesting and not just on the linguistic level. I’m beyond happy to work with you to make your learning experience the best it can be!我的課程內容與教學風格
I am interested in the science behind language acquisition and I am happy to make my lessons accessible to every level and make the Hebrew language a bridge into a world of content that interests the student and also suits them and what they want to do with the language. We can use stories, music, current affairs or even just day-to-day conversation as part of the process!我的教材
