My schedule is flexible, and I treat teaching as my full-time job and I’m always available to support your learning journey.

I love teaching and helping my students succeed in learning Hebrew. For me, language learning should be fun and come from the heart.
I learned English as a kid from MTV and the SIMS game, even before I learned it in school, which made it more enjoyable. As I learn Portuguese, I understand the challenges of learning a new language.
My goal as a teacher is to help you overcome challenges and reach your goals with patience and personalized teaching.
I use my love for music and design to make learning fun and creative. My passion for education drives my teaching, and I bring experience from working in informal education.

In my lessons, we’ll explore how to speak, write, and read Hebrew through topics like Israeli culture, music, movies, TV shows, and heritage. We’ll start with the basics, like the alphabet, and progress to speaking like Israelis, including confidently using everyday language. At the end of each lesson, we’ll review what we’ve learned and adjust our plan based on your progress. I also create a private shared folder with each student, where we keep all the materials from every lesson. We connect through shared interests, making your Hebrew learning experience positive and enjoyable.我的教材

Shai is an excellent Hebrew teacher on italki. He is very patient and personable, and his time zone makes scheduling lessons with him very easy.
It was a little tricky at first to gage my exact level with Hebrew as a Duolingo student prior to this, but Shai has provided a unique style for each lesson, mixing reading long texts, having real conversations, watching Hebrew videos and animations, listening to Hebrew music, discussing Israeli culture, and answering any specific questions I have.
During each lesson, he takes notes of specific words I struggled with, for me to review on my own.
I highly recommend if you’re looking to learn Hebrew!

I am really enjoying my lessons with Shai. After just a few lessons, I already feel more confident and fluent with my Hebrew. Shai tailors the lessons to your needs and his friendly and personable manner creates a relaxed and supportive environment in which to learn, which is very motivating.

After dozen of short lessons with Shai now i can confirm he is one of the best tutors on italki and highly recommended to beginners like me。The most important thing is this man’s unique personality makes you feel so no pressure even safe during the class 。And i am gonna plan to learn more fundamental Hebrew（A1-A2）with him as well as the isreali culture^_^
