Hello, nice to meet you, my name is Heejoo, I was born and grew up in South Korea.
I'm studying English very hard, and as I'm studying English, I keep getting greedy and want to make more natural sentences and sound more native.
I think it's the same for you guys who are learning Korean, you want to speak a little bit more Korean and natural than the sentences in the book. To focus on speaking practice, I'll make sure the class is always smiling and relaxed. I'd love to help you with that, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask.我的教學經歷
I am currently teaching Korean on another language platform and have been teaching since 2017, not only in Korean but also in other areas related to my major.我的課程內容與教學風格
We practice speaking on a different topic each time. In my class, we focus on speaking and listening, so tell me a lot of your stories in response to the questions I ask to improve your speaking skills.
If you're able to form sentences and communicate to a certain extent, we will practice learning more advanced words and using them to communicate, and furthermore, I will help them to refine their sentences and correct their pronunciation so that they can speak naturally and smoothly like Koreans.
If you're not good at it, but you're practising listening and speaking, you'll practice speaking by making up sentences that you want to say.我的教材

I just finished five lessons and am starting another five with Hee Joo! 😆 I look forward to every session, even though it makes me a bit nervous—especially when she challenges me to speak in super long sentences. But once I get through it, the feeling is like being on cloud nine! That sense of accomplishment really motivates me to keep learning and exploring the language. This experience has shown me just how rewarding language learning can be.

When I first started my lessons with Heejoo, I was very nervous, as I haven't practiced speaking Korean in a long time with someone else. However, Heejoo's teaching style was very calming and at the end of the first lesson I was a lot more relaxed.
I'm so much more at ease now, whenever we have a lesson. And am very thankful for Heejoo's patience and explanations that guide me a lot!
