Hello everyone, I am from Hokkaido in Japan.
I have lived in the UK for more than two decades, with experience teaching Japanese in local secondary schools for 5 years, where I introduced Japanese culture and traditions along with the Japanese language.
I love animals, nature and travelling, all the simple things in life.
I have heard all the weird, interesting and funny questions about Japanese culture and language over the many years, most coming from my two wonderful daughters from the UK, so please ask away and don't be scared!
Hopefully my friendly manner and positivity, with the knowledge and experience of teaching, will help guide you through this beautiful journey.我的教學經歷
I am reliable, conscientious and determined to assist you to learn to your fullest potential.
When learners need help, I am someone who is patient and caring to support my students every step of the way, no matter how difficult it is.
My goal as a teacher is to help my student improve to the best of my ability, however large or small the progression. Persistence is key.

I would like learners to focus less on textbooks, but instead, colloquial every day language which are more commonly used in conversations. I am flexible with the student's goals and preferred method of learning, so textbooks, whiteboards and other resources are available also.
It makes me happy to know my learners are relaxed in my lesson.
