Hi there! My name is Sinéad ("Shinaid") and I come from Ireland. I have been teaching English for nearly 6 years and I have travelled to several different countries, working and exploring! I love to experience new places, and get to know about different cultures. I am currently living in Mexico, and learning Spanish. My hobbies include going for a cycle around the city, going to museums and art galleries, reading, trying new restaurants or cafes, hanging out with my adorable cat and spending afternoons painting.我的教學經歷
I started teaching English to children in a Kindergarten in Berlin, Germany. I used games and play and a whole lot of interaction to create a fun learning environment for the children. I then worked in an English Institution in Santiago de Chile where I was teaching Business English to all different levels. I maintained my interactive teaching and made sure that the business English classes were always engaging and fun for my adult students. I also taught general English at the same time, focusing on topics that the students were interested in. In Mexico, I have taught both business and general English and teach online using many different materials. My students are always eager and engaged.我的課程內容與教學風格
Through my experience I have developed my skills and teaching methods greatly! I focus on each student's unique needs and cater my classes to suit them. If the student is lacking confidence, I will help them to practice a lot through conversation and build their confidence through fluency. When a student struggles with a particular grammar structure, we will work on that thoroughly through a range of activities. It's important to practice with grammar activities but just as important to practice using the grammar in speaking. My lessons are diverse, interactive and above else, fun!我的教材

Kindergarten English TeacherI taught children from ages 1- 6 years old, through a variety of teaching methods. For the younger children, I used play, interaction, music and art to teach them English. For the older children I used all the methods mentioned but also more structured lessons focusing on age appropriate material.

English TeacherI taught students on an individual and group basis, ranging from beginners to advanced levels, and predominantly focused on Business English. The classes were all in person.

I am responsible for teaching students business English , to prepare them for meetings with English speaking clients and partners. I have both online and in person classes, and teach one-to-one and in groups.

I highly recommend Sinead! Their lessons are always well-structured, engaging, and tailored to my needs. She creates a comfortable environment where I feel confident to practice speaking and make mistakes. Sinead is not only knowledgeable and professional but also very patient and encouraging.
