Ben Galea

This was my first lesson of Maltese and I really enjoyed it. Ben did a great job, making the lesson interesting, educative and relevant. Overall, I am more than happy and can truly recommend him.

After a break of a few weeks, Ben and I got together again and spent one hour discovery amazing grammatical points and expressions found in a children's book that I read. A very fruitful and enjoyable hour. Thanks again Ben.

After the Xmas/New Year break we spent time during this lessons discussing objectives of this year's course as well as the methods that we would use to attain them. Thank you Ben.

Today I tried speaking rather than reading Maltese. It was a challenging lesson and very much more difficult than reading. I had the freedom of speaking Maltese but resorting to English when I did not know the word I wanted to use. Both Ben and I agreed that this was a beneficial exercise. and we will be using this method in future lessons. Thank you Ben

Ben recorded a fascinating maltese book. I shall use this book to "shadow" Ben ; while reading more simple books by myself and then reading them in class. I have to take a couple of weeks off for medical reasons. But I look forward to again spend time learning from Ben. Thank you Ben for recording the book so well. See you in a couple of weeks.

This was my last lesson with Ben for this year. We commence again in January next year. I have come a long way with Ben's help. I am able to read Maltese, speak a little, and understand spoken Maltese. That is a big achievement in just a few months. Thank you so much Ben.
