Ben Galea

Ben recorded a fascinating maltese book. I shall use this book to "shadow" Ben ; while reading more simple books by myself and then reading them in class. I have to take a couple of weeks off for medical reasons. But I look forward to again spend time learning from Ben. Thank you Ben for recording the book so well. See you in a couple of weeks.

After the Xmas/New Year break we spent time during this lessons discussing objectives of this year's course as well as the methods that we would use to attain them. Thank you Ben.

This was my last lesson with Ben for this year. We commence again in January next year. I have come a long way with Ben's help. I am able to read Maltese, speak a little, and understand spoken Maltese. That is a big achievement in just a few months. Thank you so much Ben.

Having been sent a book to preview last week and to read this in class this week, showed me not what I knew but what I did not know. Reading a book that I can easily read would have made me feel good; but probably I would not have learnt much. Yes it was challenging. But learning is a challenge. Thank you Ben.

Thanks to Ben we have now teached the point where from now on we will be concentrating on speaking and reading Maltese. This is an amazing achievement, taking into account the fact that a few months ago I was not able to read or speak Maltese. Thank you Ben for your constant enthusiasm and your encouragement. Len

I have, with Ben's help, reached the stage where I can start Ben, reading small carefully selected passages. These not only put together all that I have learned from Ben regarding garmmar, but also introduce new expressions that we did not cover over the past few weeks. As always, Ben is always very well prepared and his encouragement and gentle challenges motivates me to learn and study harder.
