Hello! I'm Bethany and I am excited to help you learn a new language. I am American I currently live in North Carolina, USA. I love to travel and live in new places. I have also lived in San Diego, California (near Disney Land!), Atlanta, Georgia (very multi-cultural city), and in Japan for 4 years. My hobbies are traveling, watching Netflix, and watercolor painting. I love to learn about different cultures and history, especially Japanese history. (My favorite Japanese period is the Jomon-jidai!)

我的教學經歷

It is easier to learn a new language if you are interested in the topic. I can talk about many subjects like culture, history, video games, American slang, movies and more! Before teaching English I worked at many different companies so I can help you with Business English too. My lessons are very flexible. If there is something specific you want to work on, let me know. I can speak some Japanese, so if your first language is Japanese I will try to use a little Japanese in class, for example "We will meet __ the party." Should you use "in" or "at"? Hint:「に」or「で」?

I have 3 types of lessons: • Beginners - fun lessons with games and reading. • Conversation with Corrections - talk about what you like. • News & TED Talks - reading and listening practice before class, speaking and conversation practice during class

Bethany is a lovely person with her masterfully crafted sense of humor and is very up-to-date with current events. Breaking the ice took less than 10 seconds with her, and the lesson was very engaging. Definitely recommend her!
