I was born and raised in Seoul South Korea, currently living in Vancouver Canada. I also lived in London for over a year and Little rock Arkansas for two years. Living and studying in different countries allowed me to meet various people and experience different cultures.
I've worked in education industry for over 10 years including international language schools and career community college.
I am interested in outdoor activities, biking, Kayaking, swimming. I play many different sports such as tennis, badminton and basketball. As much as I like spending time outside, I also like spending time home when it's raining or whenever I feel like being lazy.我的教學經歷

Id like my students get excited/entertained during my class as I think learning new language should be fun.
I may use English for beginners when it's necessary however, I still think strictly using Korean during class will be beneficial for students. I also use different materials and topics depending on levels我的教材

I am very happy with my lessons with Vancoupe. He's extremely patient, dedicated and involved. Also very clear in his explanations. He takes the time to note down important concepts, and he also explains the roots and links between vocabulary words, which is very useful. He's also positive and always smiling. Nothing to complain about! I recommend him :)

Vancoupe was fun to talk with, and he provided me with good feedback regarding my Korean vocabulary and grammar. The lesson felt very natural, like talking with a friend - a friend who wants to get to know you, and wants to take good care of you. I recommend him :)

if you want to learn Korean you must book a lesson with him! he is by far the most motivating and kind tutor. Easy to learn quickly and naturally. couldn't recommend more.
