I am friendly, flexible and patient, and passionate about teaching. I am currently learning a couple of new languages myself and know how challenging speaking in a second language can be, so I will work to make you feel comfortable talking in your new language.
Among the interests I have are reading, practicing yoga, learning about other cultures, cooking and watching popular TV series and movies. I love having conversations about a wide variety of topics.我的教學經歷
I have more than 16 years experience teaching teenage students in a class room setting and on a full time basis. I also have more than 6 years experience teaching languages online to students of all ages including adults and have taught over 2,000 classes.
I speak Spanish and English with an American accent. My classes are tailored to the student's learning style and goals. Consequently, we can do classes that are very structured or we can focus on your conversational stills.我的課程內容與教學風格
I am a very patient teacher and treat my students with respect. With me, you’ll feel comfortable being yourself and my goal will be to help you improve your confidence. I can prepare structured lessons for you and we can focus on grammar and learning new words. Or we can have lessons that are more conversational.
Each student learns differently and I can structure your lessons to your specific needs and learning style. We can have conversations about different topics, while I help you improve your pronunciation and fluency. Conversation practice for adults can include situational practice, Cross talk and role plays, while lessons for children can be fun and interactive.我的教材

Today is my birthday and Lucia was sure to make me feel celerated! We had plenty of fun playing games while also learning about key concepts that I needed to cover for my college english course. Who knew learning grammar could be so fun!

I always enjoy lessons with Lucia. She's great at ensuring that I understand what is being taught and moving at a pace that works for me. She always has a variety of ways to practice what we are learning, whether it be through a game, fill in the blank, mix and match, or other.

I logged into our session today as soon as I got home from work. My brain was not quite ready to switch gears, so I was not picking up on concepts as quickly as usual. Despite my struggling Lucia was extremely patient and kind, and very encouraging.
