Hello there! I come from Shanghai, China. I used to be a structural engineer with more than 20 years of experience in multinational companies and am now a full-time professional Chinese teacher with extensive teaching experience.
I love to travel around the world and have been to the USA, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Serbia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Montenegro and Herzegovina. I like to communicate with people from different cultures and share different perceptions of the world. In my spare time I also like reading books, listening to music, hiking and trampolining.我的教學經歷
Teaching Chinese is exactly a passion for me and I have taught hundreds of students of all levels from all over the world for more than 5 years. When I help my students start from scratch and can finally communicate freely with Chinese people, I feel a great sense of accomplishment.
Of course, I also have the Mandarin Proficiency Certificate 2-A and CTCSOL (Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages). Although learning a language is not easy, it is great fun to conquer it. I have my own experience of learning English and German. I graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which is one of the top5 universities in China. I have many interesting and effective methods that I can't wait to share with you. I will teach you everything you are interested in about the Chinese language and can also communicate on any topic you want.

I contacted the teacher about a specific need concerning pronunciation, she understood my request perfectly. The lessons are efficient because Ping Li is an experienced and particularly patient teacher. Her explanations are always very clear. I also appreciate her enthusiasm for wanting to make me improve. Picked up where we left off after a week, 老师 was very attentive reviewing our previous textbook material, looking at vocabulary and relatable conversation dialogue in my everyday life. I feel more confident every day under 老师 tutelage!

老师 was very helpful with helping me create sentences that applied to my personal life. We also reviewed past vocabulary, new vocabulary and did some pronunciation practice. We also learned how to expand simple sentences with additional context using time and place. Great lesson!
