Hello there! I come from Shanghai, China. I used to be a structural engineer with more than 20 years of experience in multinational companies and am now a full-time professional Chinese teacher with extensive teaching experience.
I love to travel around the world and have been to the USA, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Serbia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Montenegro and Herzegovina. I like to communicate with people from different cultures and share different perceptions of the world. In my spare time I also like reading books, listening to music, hiking and trampolining.我的教學經歷
Teaching Chinese is exactly a passion for me and I have taught hundreds of students of all levels from all over the world for more than 5 years. When I help my students start from scratch and can finally communicate freely with Chinese people, I feel a great sense of accomplishment.
Of course, I also have the Mandarin Proficiency Certificate 2-A and CTCSOL (Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages). Although learning a language is not easy, it is great fun to conquer it. I have my own experience of learning English and German. I graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which is one of the top5 universities in China. I have many interesting and effective methods that I can't wait to share with you. I will teach you everything you are interested in about the Chinese language and can also communicate on any topic you want.
If you want to improve your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, I will help you learn them systematically. I also know a lot of stories about Chinese characters, which will make you feel that Chinese characters are not as boring as you think.我的教材

I contacted the teacher about a specific need concerning pronunciation, she understood my request perfectly. The lessons are efficient because Ping Li is an experienced and particularly patient teacher. Her explanations are always very clear. I also appreciate her enthusiasm for wanting to make me improve. 老师 has helped me a lot with my 发音，I feel more confident. I'm also grateful for 老师 explaining a lot of sentence structures that are very simple yet contextual. Every lesson promises a fun, interactive, and wholesome learning experience.
