Hi, I'm Ricardo! Although my great-grandmother spoke Quechua, I learned it in my adolescence. This allowed me to reconnect with my roots and better understand my culture and the history of my people. I've been working as a translator, interpreter and teacher for over 15 years. I love languages, cooking and plants. I consider myself a fun person who is eager to learn about the culture of other countries. In Ecuador, indigenous people speak different dialects of Quichua, including Chimborazo Quichua, Imbabura Quichua and Cañar Quichua. I have dedicated a good part of my life to learn some of these dialects because I consider them part of our identity as Ecuadorians.

Although I know that learning grammar is important, I believe that what most of us want to have the ability to communicate as soon as possible in the language we are learning. So I offer you the opportunity to improve your ability to communicate in Ecuadorian Quechua and Spanish. I consider myself a patient and empathetic person willing to listen. Having lived among various indigenous communities in Ecuador has granted me a profound understanding of their ideologies and customs. As a result, I can also provide insight into the diverse customs that exist within different indigenous communities throughout Ecuador.我的課程內容與教學風格
My teaching methods can be adapted to your needs. If you wish, we can review the grammar and I can provide you with some resources to continue learning. Or if you wish, we can have conversations about your topics of interest so that you feel comfortable speaking and have the opportunity to learn more vocabulary.
