⭐ Send me a message if you don't find a suitable time in my agenda ⭐ Hello! I'm Manon, born and raised in Belgium, specifically in Flanders. I was raised bilingual Flemish/Dutch and French, and also speak English fluently. Because I grew up in Flanders, I speak Dutch with a Flemish accent (Vlaams-Brabant)! I studied sociology, which I love talking about, I enjoy spending time in nature, cooking, travelling, culture and arts, fitness, coffee. If there is one word you should know in Dutch it's "gezellig"! This represents about everything I enjoy! I am learning Spanish myself, so I have some insight into the challenges my students face with learning a new language.

I am a people-person and have a playful nature. Which means, I want to help you grow and gain confidence in Flemish/Dutch while having fun! When you're having fun, learning isn't hard work anymore—it becomes something to look forward to. That's why I always aim to keep things lively, stay tuned in to what my students need, and switch things up to keep it fresh! ⭐ I'm here to support you and I want to create a safe and judgement-free space for you to practice and learn. I adapt my lessons to match with your level, personality, interests, learning pace and schedule. ⭐

我的課程內容與教學風格

⭐ I teach from A2-level of Dutch and ONLY do conversation class: if you want to book my lessons, you should be able to have a (short) conversation in Dutch. ⭐ First, I want to know what your goals are, what your "why" is of learning Dutch. Are there specific things you want to learn? In the first (trial) lesson, we will choose which topics and which methods are the most interesting to you. I also offer document proofreading and job interview preparation, send me a message! I offer feedback, corrections, and suggestions throughout the lesson, mistakes are okay and welcome, you will always receive my enthousiasm! TEACHING CHILDREN: I do not teach children younger than 14y!

I really enjoyed my lessons with Ms Manon. I really needed her help for preparing me for a short of time for a B2 Dutch speaking exam. We have covered a lot of subjects. She was always searching for new things in order to enrich my vocabulary. She is a very energetic, passionate and for sure very helpful teacher. Also she is full of empathy, something which is so amazing for a teacher. I totally recommend her for everyone who wants to learn more about the language and prepare for exams!!!
