Mexican translator and writer currently living in Brazil. I came to this beautiful country to study, I fell in love with a Brazilian woman, we got married, and now my life is here. I have worked as a linguist in the corporate industry for a long time, but I'm trying to switch to a career that is more in touch with people.

I try my best to adapt to each student's needs. I can be just a fun person to talk to, or a professional tutor to get you through a test or help you achieve fluency in Spanish.

I believe in learning through practice and real-life examples. My lessons include artworks, poems, short stories, and short films. I focus in conversation, reading, and writing, but I can tailor a learning program to your specific needs: for instance, if you want to learn Spanish to travel, or take a deep dive in specialized texts for an academic degree.

Enrique is a thoughtful and patient teacher who is able to meet me at my level and keep the conversation going. I am naturally not a very talkative person, but Enrique keeps the lesson flowing and returns at the end of the lesson to cover specific issues that he notices I have with my Spanish.
