As a native Latvian and Russian speaker, born bilingual, I bring a deep understanding of both languages and cultures to my teaching. With a background in English language teaching and study skills, I have experience in developing engaging, learner-centered lessons that emphasize practical language skills for adult learners. I believe that language learning opens doors to new perspectives and understanding, which is why I’m passionate about teaching Latvian and Russian to others.我的教學經歷

I incorporate visuals, audio aids, and interactive methods to make lessons engaging and adaptable to diverse learning styles. Drawing on my experience as an ESOL tutor, I know how to tailor lessons to meet each learner's unique needs. Fantastic first lesson with Gita! Will definitely be having more.
The lesson was adjusted to my (low) level of Latvian, and we made full use of the classroom to get the most out of the time together.
Gita took the time to teach not just the words, but the correct pronounciation, and how the words vary within different contexts.
She was incredibly patient and happy to spend the time to help me understand how to use the words in a real world sentence.
The trial lesson flew past, and given it was a 30 minute intro I felt I learnt a lot. Excited to learn more!
