I enjoy walking, swimming and cycling. I live in the countryside with my family, I'm 47, married and I have two children. I love music and cooking, I do amateur theatre and play the drums. I like travelling both in Czechia and abroad. There are two cats living with us, actually sisters. I'm a pro English teacher and freelance translator.我的教學經歷
I've given English lessons to Czechs for over two decades, and Czech classes to foreigners for about five years intermittently. I prefer one-on-one settings, where the learner and the tutor can pay undivided attention to each other. In my experience, this is the most rewarding kind of lessons, although there is by default no learner interaction, which is otherwise gold.我的課程內容與教學風格
I offer an informal, relaxed learning atmosphere where the learner is encouraged to use most of the given time speaking and listening. I employ Czech music, snapshots from popular TV series and with more advanced learners, there is time for a good Czech read too. I am totally capable of explaining any aspect of the language if you ask about it or have any doubts. For complete beginners, I start the course with listening and speaking about everyday stuff. Pronunciation receives maximum attention. Learners with any degree of Czech are first "tested" and I then tailor the course to your personal needs and preferences. Grammar is the backbone, and few people can walk without one.我的教材
