I have a Bachelor's degree in English and writing, and am pursuing a PhD. I worked 23 years as a paralegal and continue to work as a freelance writer. I stay current with world events and my writing focuses on political-socio-economics, history, literature and philosophy.

With me, students continually progress into greater English fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and structure. Lessons are tailored to each student's needs and goals, and focus on moving from simple to complex. During lessons I introduce new vocabulary, and correct grammar and pronunciation. I use online tools, including discussion topics and questions, current news and the student's interests. I give lessons in comprehending and appreciating literature. I give writing lessons, including first drafts to completion of essays and stories, editing previously written documents and preparation of cover letters, resumes and CVs.

Lessons are individually, comprehensively and progressively structured to improve fluency in spoken and written English. If you want to improve your English language arts, I very much want to teach you.
