Hi! Please read my ENTIRE profile before booking a class with me. Thanks :) My name is Azren and I am a language learning enthusiast. I'm born and raised in Calgary, Canada and this is also where I currently live. My family is originally from India and I studied in a French immersion school, meaning that I grew up speaking 3 languages. I speak 5 languages right now and am working on increasing that number to at least 8. Aside from teaching and learning languages (my two biggest passions in life), I love to travel. I've visited over 100 cities across 15 countries in 5 continents. Additionally, business operations fascinate me. I've worked for myself since 2011 and love doing so.

Learning and teaching languages has been a major focus of my life since 2007. I have taught over 1000 students of all ages and all levels of fluency. I have accumulated over 15,000 hours of experience in the field of foreign language acquisition and know my craft extremely well. My current full-time job involves working with language learners to help them achieve their desired level of fluency as efficiently as possible while also training, coaching, and managing other tutors to do the same. When you book your initial consultation with me, feel free to ask me advice about learning any spoken language as I can likely point you in the right direction regardless of what the language is.

I only work with those who are serious about learning a language and who are seeking more than just conversation practice. Click "contact teacher" and fill out the form before booking a lesson with me. Do not book a time until we've spoken over private messages. I organize my scheduling this way because my full-time job has irregular hours and I add availability to my italki calendar only after we've agreed upon a time for the first class. Next, we will set up a consultation to create a detailed roadmap to achieving your desired level of fluency. You may not even need to book another class with me after the consultation. I had another great lesson with Azren. His passion for language learning is very apparent and it rubs off on you! Even in moments where I struggle to comprehend all of what he's saying he's very patient and he works to break down it down with you!
