Hello my name is Dave and I am from Canada.
I have been teaching English and living in Spain for more than 15 years.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Waterloo in Canada and a Master's degree in Engineering of Biosystems from the University of León in Spain.
In my spare time I like hiking in the mountains near my home and reading books. I love talking and learning about a wide range of topics我的教學經歷
I have been teaching English for over 15 years. I have taught a wide range of students, from beginners to advanced learners, as well as everything from conversational English to Business English.
I have even successfully prepared students for the Cambridge Proficiency Exam as well as Job Interviews.
My favourite part about teaching is when my students improve their English and succeed in achieving their goals. I love seeing my students learn and have fun.我的課程內容與教學風格
My classes are fun and dynamic.
During the first classes we will get to know each other and talk about your English learning journey what you want to achieve. After I will set up a plan to help you succeed in reaching your goals.
I generally incorporate real world examples and supplement material to help you learn including books and videos that target your learning objectives.
I have taught a wide range of different classes over my teaching career from conversational English to Business English to preparing students for exams so I can adapt the classes to suit your needs and have you succeed in learning English.我的教材

Physical Scientist Level 2Responsible for the establishment, development, management, and monitoring of Canada’s national deforestation database as well as municipal, provincial and national geographic layers.
Management of Canada’s national deforestation project.
Coordinated and supervised colleagues, subcontractors (contractors), and regional agencies that were working on the deforestation project.

Physical Scientist Level 1Integrated information from various data sources (regional and national) into a GIS for analysis and used this data to validate the land cover mapping that was produced from remote sensing image sensors (Landsat MSS, TM and ETM +)
Performed analysis with GIS spatial databases within the national project EOSD (Earth Observation for Sustainable Development of forest cover)
Planned and executed field work that was necessary to validate the land cover classification that was produced.
