Hi, I'm Piera! I was born and raised in Brazil living in Europe! I've traveled to many countries such as Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain, among others... In this international experience I went through several situations where I had to learn a language quickly because I already had a trip scheduled... And I also had the experience of teaching Portuguese and English voluntarily while I was in Europe in a social project for two years! (It was incredible) From there I discovered my passion for teaching and developed my method by combining my native Portuguese with my teaching skills and understanding the needs of those who need to learn as quickly as possible! I speak native Portuguese. I had 2 years of experience teaching people on a volunteer placement in Europe, where I taught people of all ages, teenagers, adults, older people and even children! I completed all my schooling and speak fluent English and Spanish because of my international experiences.

I specialize in conversation, from beginner level to fluency!
About my classes: My teaching style is totally personalized to my student's needs, we practice a lot of conversation, without too much grammar and I always like to teach everyday words and slang that you don't learn in books! (You can even pass yourself off as a native haha)
As a Portuguese teacher, I offer personalized lessons adapted to your needs (whether it's communicating with those you love, getting to know a new country, just learning a beautiful language…)

Pierra is an extremely helpful, supportive, patient and kind teacher to study with. In my first class, she taught me some of the most commonly used expressions of Portuguese language that are used in everyday life and I really enjoyed learning to pronounce each one of them. It was really nice and fun to study with her. I really enjoyed my class with Pierra. Muito Obrigado!
