Hello, salut, hola, olá!
I'm Catarina Cunha, but you can call me Cat.
I'm a health sciences student with a passion for languages and cultures, and I would love to help you on this journey through the rich and poetic Brazilian Portuguese. I have experience as an informal teacher in community-based charity courses, and since childhood, I’ve enjoyed studying languages and connecting with people from different backgrounds. Afterall, I believe that very language you learn is a new way of seeing the world—a whole new universe to explore.
I also have advanced knowledge of English and an intermediate level of French and Spanish, which can help with communication if you are a foreign speaker.我的教學經歷
Como professora, sou dedicada, organizada e criativa. Acredito na eficácia científica de métodos de estudo ativo e repetição espaçada, e gosto de ensinar usando um ambiente divertido que pode envolver jogos, arte e cultura. Minhas aulas podem ser dinâmicas e interativas, focando na prática oral e escrita, e adaptadas às suas necessidades específicas.
As a teacher, I am dedicated, organized and creative. I believe in the scientific effectiveness of active study methods and spaced repetition, and I like to teach using a fun enviroment that can involve games, art and culture. Podemos ter aulas apenas de conversação, com tópicos de seu interesse, onde irei te ouvir e buscar trazer coisas que você goste, ou podemos estudar juntos através de textos, exercícios, vídeos ou música. Adapto o conteúdo ao seu nível e objetivos, sempre incentivando a confiança ao falar. Além da gramática, trago aspectos culturais para tornar o idioma mais vivo e natural.
We can have only conversation classes, with subjects of your interest, where I'm gonna to listen to you and bring things that you like, or we can study together through texts, musics and exercises. I adapte my content to your level and goals, always encouraging confidence when speaking. I also bring cultural aspects.我的教材
