Hello! my name is Humphrey Tuwati, and i am excited to to be teaching you swahili language and culture for expats. i have a degree in Education from Mwenge catholic university and have spent more than seven years teaching students from level one to advanced level. my journey in education began from my lovely swahili teacher in secondary school.
i believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and my goal is to create a welcoming and engaging classroom environment where students feel insipired to learn. I emphasize critical thinking , creativity , collaboration and encourage my students to take ownership of their learning.我的教學經歷
As a teacher , my goal is to help you understand concepts, answer your questions ,and guide you through learning. what specific topic or subject would you like to explore today? and i will help speak swahili language and understand its culture and also swahili grammar.我的課程內容與教學風格
my lesson is structured to meet students needs and ensure that a student is able to compose simple sentences within few days. Below are my teching style
1. focus on conversation : i do priotize speaking and listening skilss to encourage spontaneous conversation.
2. role -playing: use of real- life scenarios where students can practice vocabulary and prase relevant to everyday interactions.
3. real-life tasks: create assignments that stimulate real- world situations, such as ordering food, introducing oneself, or buying goods in a market.
4. cultural immersion : introduce cultural aspects of swahili- speaking countries , including customs, traditions and history.
