You don't know me yet, but my name is Flor -- and I'm your new Spanish fairy godmother! I am a native speaker with a clear and neutral accent (Peru). I specialize in helping people get past a language learning plateau to reach conversational fluency! I discovered a passion for helping others to learn Spanish when my daughter-in-law, an American, came into our family a few years ago. She asked me to help her learn, and I was happy to provide resources and plenty of speaking practice for her! Later, I had the opportunity to volunteer at a language school in Colorado, where I often participated as a Spanish conversation partner and Peruvian culture advocate.我的教學經歷

My qualifications include extensive grammar and literature classes at San Martin de Porres University here in Lima that were taken as I pursued a Journalism degree. I have owned a business, and worked in the financial sector. I have taught over 7,000 lessons in italki as a teacher. I’m ready to help you with a structured and professional lesson plan. Curso Superior Universitario de Profesores de Español para Extranjeros ELE - Universidad Rey Juan Carlos y INESEM – Instituto Europeo de Estudios Empresariales - 2017With the "Curso de Profesor de Español para Extranjeros (ELE)", I gained the practical and theoretical knowledge to be able to teach Spanish on a professional level. The course taught me to design, apply, and validate different teaching strategies for the language and how to accommodate various learning styles. The course provided me with lesson planning tools and an evaluation system to measure the progress of my students.

It is always a pleasure to be working with Flor. Anybody who hasn't tried out working with her is missing out on a great opportunity to learn Spanish. She knows a lot about the language, speaks very clearly and can teach any level. I've been taking classes with her for a long time now and my Spanish has improved a lot. She is a great teacher!

It was a pleasure working with Flor. She is very knowledgeable about so many subjects. She keeps the conversation going without any pauses. She asked about things in my country and then answered my questions about Peru.
