Lorimar

Lorimar is a really wonderful instructor, the conversations are always interesting, touching, or funny, and they push my ability to communicate towards areas where I just need to learn a few more words. She is able to see where I need guidance though our conversations and we work on these areas, sometimes specifically with homework, sometimes just through normal conversation and gentle reminders. If you are approaching conversational in Spanish and feel like you need this last push with a patient teacher to succeed, then I highly recommend Lorimar. (But don't steal my time slot!)

Lorimar uses different methods to teach. Sometimes we do short videos to allow us to have specific topics to talk about and for me to practice listening to others' speech in addition to her's among other fun activities. I very much enjoy our lessons and I find myself relaxed and laughing as we to the lessons.

Lori is an amazing Spanish teacher who makes learning fun. She's great at making conversations feel natural, even when we're going over grammar. I've noticed a big improvement in my Spanish speaking skills since I started her classes. She makes learning feel less like a chore and more like a fun chat with a friend.

Laminar was very well-prepared. Her approach sounds very professional. Our first conversation was very effective and useful. We discussed my targets and needs, also the style of learning so she could adapt to my requirements. Her accent as Venezuelan is very clear and easy to understand. And she seems comfortable with a decent attitude 🙂

Lorimar is great! My speech is very slow to progress and she is so patient with me. She provides opportunities for me to listen, speak and helps with my pronunciation and grammar. We often have exercises to give me things to discuss. I've been working with her for several months and don't have any plans to change. I highly recommend Lorimar!

I really enjoy my lessons with Lorimar. She is kind and fun and has many activities for me to work on to have things to discuss. I feel comfortable trying out words I'm not sure of with her and I think my ability to speak Spanish - although still very halting and slow, is improving from our lessons together. She is always timely and well organized. I recommend lessons with her for sure!
