Hi there! My name is Angelo and I would love to be your English teacher :) I am a (half-Italian) native speaker from Pennsylvania, a state in the USA near New York City. I have a love for languages and currently speak 13 of them to various levels, including Italian, Russian, Spanish, Greek, German, Dutch, Chinese, Arabic, Luxembourgish, French, Icelandic, and Japanese (in addition to my native English).
I have strong experience as an English teacher. I have roughly five years of formal teaching experience (in online formats), but many additional years as a language exchange partner with many English learners, honing my abilities in grammar, accent, and many more skills.我的教學經歷
I am a relaxed teacher who will push you to interact and use the language so you can build confidence and hone your skills. I am most interested and trained in speaking and listening training, so you will benefit especially from my lessons in accent training and speech patterns. Of course, I am always open to regular conversation practice, providing corrections and vocabulary words throughout the lesson :) I also hold a deep knowledge of the grammar of my own language, and my explanations will be clear so that you can grasp the grammar in the quickest time possible.

Generally in my lessons we will begin with a brief warmup of conversation before jumping into the main things that you want to work on. I will tailor my lessons specifically to your needs, whether that be accent and pronunciation, grammar, or confidence in conversation. I mold the feel of my lessons to my students, so that you can feel as comfortable as possible in the lesson and overcome any difficulties or anxiety you might feel about the language.我的教材

Online English TeacherTeaching ESL lesson plans in 25- or 45-minute sessions to anywhere from 1 to 6 native speakers of Chinese at a time. Solid experience with both adults and children, starting from age 5, and at all levels of proficiency. Nearly full-time basis of 30-35 hours per week, with four years of experience. Lessons were focused on practical speaking and listening skills in daily life as well as business settings.

Angelo is an angel! He's very patient, professional, knowledgeable and gives you very helpful hints to get better in English. As of now, we are working on pronunciation, we have a conversation in English and he notes every sound that may be off, he makes me notice pronunciation patterns and he doesn't get bored to hear me repeating a mispronounced word or sentence multiple times until it gets right. I'm grateful to have started this journey with him.

It was a great lesson. We talked about learning languages, about my goals, about the difficulties I face, about ways and methods of learning. Angelo gave me some advice, fixed some of my mistakes. It was an interesting and useful conversation, I felt comfortable, not tired at all and could easily have talked more.
