Yoko

Yoko sensei is my absolute favourite conversation teacher! She lets me take my time if I'm stuck on a word, she's really good at understanding if something is hard to say and always really positive and affirmative. I went from a really awkward speaker to a much less awkward speaker quite fast thanks to her. All of that said, her best point I think is her personality. She likes to talk about funny and sometimes really unexpected things, which really sticks in your mind. I love talking with her about nerdy things, like games and otaku-culture. and she's amazing at remembering what you talked about and always does her best to make you feel comfortable. I'm really glad I found her!

The lessons with Yoko sensei are always fantastic! Every time we manage to talk a lot about various topics, and even though I can't always express myself she is very patient and helpful. I never thought I would be able to have long conversations in Japanese but she has helped me a lot and now I am much more confident to speak (despite still making mistakes!). I look forward to the next lesson!

My first lesson with Yoko was extremely fun! I had SO much fun and she was so patient and encouraging. She corrected my mistakes and pronunciation. I also liked that she came prepared with materials.
