Hello! My name is Sanjay, I am a native speaker of Tamil from India, I have also written a book on "Spoken Tamil for Absolute Beginners". I can provide Training for speaking, reading and writing in Tamil. I have been teaching Tamil for the past 15 years. My teaching methods are structured and practical, I have devised a structural approach on learning Tamil by using my book. I am also flexible and listen to my students needs and devise a structural plan based on their requirement. For e.g. You want to learn Tamil because you have a special someone who is a Tamil speaker or you are travelling to Tamil nadu or you belong to Tamil diaspora and you want to be fluent in Tamil.我的教學經歷

I have experience in teaching all kinds of students with different requirements and I have a structured lesson plan for every requirement.我的課程內容與教學風格
1. For those wants to be fluent in Tamil and is interested in grammar. The below is my lesson plan.
a) Learn to read in Tamil, (in 2 weeks time)
b) Learn Pronouns, verb conjugation, cases, negation and important suffix in Tamil.
c) Practice translating 3-5 word sentences from English to Tamil.
d) Practice conversation in Tamil, e.g. Tell me about you day, your vacation, about your city and family, etc in Tamil.
e) role play scenarios.
2. For those who wants to be fluent in Tamil but not interested in grammar. The below lesson plan would suit you.
a) Learn and practice important Vocabulary and Tamil sentences used in conversations.
b) Grammar explanations while practicing the above.我的教材

Sanjay is a talented and amiable teacher who made me feel immediately at ease and excited and motivated to learn Tamil. He offered many great tips and insights in the short space of a trial lesson and took the time to pinpoint my concerns, tailor a plan and establish my goals for learning. Sanjay has a great understanding of the complexities of language and how to best learn and teach it. He has also sent me a massive, very detailed book about learning Tamil that he wrote himself.
