Vincent B

Vincent has been a huge help with my French language learning. Two months ago I barely knew how to say anything. But now, I can ask for things, do very basic small talk, and read common things like signs and menus amongst other things. I’m visiting Paris this week from Canada, and have already used my French skills that I learned in class with Vincent. It’s hard to describe how amazing that feels. Merci beaucoup Vincent.

J'ai vraiment apprécié la leçon d'aujourd'hui. Cela m'a aidé avec ma fluidité et mon expression et c'était aussi amusant. I feel that my French has improved after every lesson with Vincent. He is very patient, yet he challenges you to become a better speaker. Highly recommended.

I really like Vincent’s teaching methodology. He has a nice mix of structure and self-learning. I believe in the importance of the basic essentials in learning a new language but most teachers (and learners) neglect them. He emphasizes the correct spelling, phonetics and pronunciation. His effort is evident in the materials he creates for teaching and the fun games and homework he provides for retention. I have never experienced it this interactive! He enforces the language by communicating it to me in class and I’m more than welcome to switch to English if I don’t get it. Notes/corrections are added on the slides or chat. He really teaches you and not just “guides” or “supervises” you. He is a testament that one doesn’t need x years of professional experience or multiple initials or titles after one’s name to effectively educate. Rather, it’s all about the willingness and ability to teach someone what they don’t know yet for as long as they are willing to learn.

Vincent est un bon professeur. I had my first lesson today and was impressed with the amount of things that I learned and the explanation of why something is this way or that way.
