Bonjour, je m'appelle Carine, je suis française et j'habite en France !
I have been tutoring on Italki for around 6 years after 5 years of face-to-face tutoring in England.
It allowed me to gather experience teaching a broad range of pupils from basic to advanced levels and from children to senior students. I have also been teaching two groups in an English company and I also taught groups of children for Les Puces Early Years French Classes.
Before my current occupation, I used to be a graphic designer and a Graphic Design teacher for seven years and I attended an Art School in Scotland.我的教學經歷
My lessons are tailor-made and will follow your needs, tastes, suggestions and demands to meet your goals and expectations.
We will decide a plan together, then change and adapt when necessary.
I am offering:
- Formal lessons from A0 to C2 level
- DELF B1 and DELF B2 exam preparation
- Any speaking exam preparation
- French for children: Alex et Zoe book 1 and 2
- French for teenagers: Adosphère books
- Informal tutoring
- Interview preparation
- Proofreading: emails, essays, cover letters…

My teaching style is to adapt my teaching to each student depending on their age, their character and language level.
In practice:
- We can have formal lessons with a mix of grammar, tenses, verbs, vocabulary and idioms AND conversation practice with exercises, texts, games, role plays and other materials.
- We can have conversations, discussions or debates on different topics, current affairs or French culture.
- We can study texts, articles or books from French literature.
- We can work on your writing skills.
- We can practice phone-calls, work conversations, interviews...
I always suggest homework as it is important for reinforcing language learning but of course this is optional.我的教材

I’ve been studying with Carine for over 5 years (!). She motivates and encourages me, and I continue to learn so much from her. I always enjoy our lessons, which are structured but also flexible; they include conversation, writing, grammar, vocabulary, dictées, reading French literature, and working through textbooks. Carine is patient with my mistakes, and has a great sense of humor, too. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Merci, Carine!

At the moment I believe that I have had over 170 lessons with Carine over the years, and she is without a doubt my favorite teacher. She is always patient, even when I make the same mistakes over and over. Sometimes we have very structured lessons around grammar or DELF exercises, and other times we have more casual lessons where we talk and discuss different subjects or current events. I can highly recommend Carine as a teacher, both for beginners and more advanced students :)
