Jelena Sreckovic

Jelena is an amazing Serbian teacher. She is patient, knowledgeable, funny, and engaging. I have worked with her for months and she adapts every lesson to my needs and skill level. She doesn't just use a canned lesson for every student like some teachers. She cares about her students progress and adapts to their skills and needs. I cannot recommend her enough!

I highly recommend Jelena as a French teacher! She has been my tutor for the past six months or so and I am very happy with my progress. Jelena and I are both Serbians, so I thought she would understand my struggles with French from that perspective. However, it turned out that my brain thinks in English rather than Serbian, so that didn't help. But Jelena's teaching style and expertise have helped me tremendously. She has been very patient with me, even when I have to present on complex topics like international law. She has a knack for understanding what I need and can explain French concepts and vocabulary in a way that makes sense to me. Thanks to Jelena's guidance, I have completed two presentations and I am now preparing for a four-day conference - all in French! I feel much more confident in my abilities and I am grateful for Jelena's support and encouragement. Merci beaucoup, Jelena!

Jelena is a naturally gifted French teacher. She has been helping me with my speaking skills, and I have been chatting with her once a week for a couple of months. She is as professional as friendly. Her lessons are well thought and structured but at the same time agile, adaptable to the needs of the student pretty much on the fly. Despite being rigorous, her teaching style is never pedantic. Being intelligent, curious, and well educated, she is always able to turn a mere French lesson into a compelling conversation. I feel this is affecting positively my learning process.
