I have four years of experience teaching students of all ages. I am a successful language learner myself, so I understand the process and how you feel and how to make it easier. My lessons will be a mixture of hyper-focused work and fun—you can do both at the same time. You will speak, speak, speak in every class!

我的教學經歷

I believe that learning a language is as much about what you do outside of class as about what you do in class. To this end, I will help you find materials that you can use to get extra practice outside of class. I would describe myself as laid-back and serious at the same time. I like to have fun in lessons, but I also believe that we can get serious work done while laughing. Note: my preferred communication tool is Zoom. Zoom is the most stable platform with the most tools. You can request another tool if you want, but know that your lesson will be the best on Zoom. I have a pro account, so the lesson will run smoothly.

我的課程內容與教學風格

I believe that the most important thing about learning a language is practice: Learning a language is a lot like learning a dance. To master it, you don't need to just study the principles of grammar, you need to practice using structures in context. Each lesson with me will feature guided speaking practice, targeted to train specific grammar structures and vocabulary. My "Lessons for Adults" also include independent work after class and homework correction. If you send me your work 24 hours before class, I will check it before class starts--this way we can use our class time more effectively.
