Hello! My name is Aksana, and I am happy to be here as an English language teacher. :)
Currently, I am pursuing my MA in National and Transnational Studies, and this is my main area of interest. My goal is to stay in academia while working with language policies and immigrant/refugee communities in the future.
Besides that, I do enjoy the simple pleasures of life: cooking, traveling, reading good literature, watching horror movies, and getting tattoos. :)我的教學經歷
As much as I love a clear structure, I am also a kind and fun person to be around, and this translates into my teaching style as well - I don't think you would ever feel bored or intimidated in my lessons.
I also used to work at an NGO as a Volunteer Coordinator, so I know how to motivate and engage people. But, perhaps more importantly, I know how to support them when they're feeling down.我的課程內容與教學風格
Depending on your interests and requests, during our lessons we can engage in a variety of activities, such as discussing a topic of your choice, active watching/listening, recreating real-life situations, or tackling grammar. Actually, I enjoy grammar very much and can explain it in a way that makes sense to you and is relevant. Let's be honest, not all grammar is relevant in our daily lives. :)我的教材
