Aiko

She was very helpful in working with me on my grammar, allowing me to attempt completing a sentence on my own then chiming in with suggestions on how to make it better. It's very helpful as these are things I wouldn't be able to figure out from books and it makes me more confident to speak without worrying about my mistakes.

Aiko sensei is great! She really pushes me and makes me think about things that I wouldn't normally think about. This is great being learning the language isn't enough with Japanese, Learning the way the people think, view and interpret things allows you to understand the language better and from a new perspective. Aiko sensei has been showing me that and I am very grateful. :)

Learning lessons by reading Hiragana and Katakana is very challenging, but it shows me that even concepts I am familiar with need to be learned much more thoroughly. Aiko is always patient and supportive, and a real pleasure to work with. Thank you!

Aiko is helping me a lot in learning the subtleties in pronunciation in the Japanese language. I read some words today which had challenging combinations of sounds. Aiko always makes me feel comfortable when I make mistakes, and when I ask for a concept to be repeated. For me this comfort level with a teacher is very important. Thank you so much.
